Uncharted 2

So since no one's created a thread yet I'm gonna'.

I'm close to the end of this game, and it's fucking great. I expected to like it, but not this much. And usually I find games that get tons of hype are ultimately a letdown, but I think Uncharted kind of escapes this. If you've held off on buying a PS3, for God's sake now's the time. Besides just being fun and entertaining as Hell (and having a solid multiplayer), it has the best graphics I've ever seen, which are made all the more impressive when you realize the game has no load times. It loads once when you start it up, then never again. Pretty amazing feat. Anyways, if you haven't already, go get that shit.

I've been strongly considering buying a ps3 for months now... 300 is still a bit too expensive for me right now but damn... Now I have another reason to get one (besides MGS4)

The first one was great. One of the few recent games with really strong story telling. How's the story stuff in this one? I get really bored of games really fast if they don't suck me in with the story.

My bro. played the first, not I, and he said he thought the story held together better in the first, but still liked this one. Having nothing to compare it to, I think it works out pretty great. The fact that they take so many cues from action-adventure Indiana Jones movies works well too.

gahhh this game was awesome. this and the first are some of the best stories in a game out there. I feel like im in an indiana jones movie or something, plus all the cool gameplay like running through a train sliding off a cliff, or running around in a building as its falling down, all this stuff you usually get to watch in a cinimatic clip or something, but this game actually lets you play it

I just got this game two days ago (around this time) and I beat it around 1 AM this morning.
The game was incredible. So incredible I figured I'd bump this thread to say "Holy shit that was awesome".

I played 2 the other day ad it was pretty awesome. It really helps that the animation is ace. I played the new GTA and the animation is so shitty it makes the flashy graphics look awful.
