If you want to get depressed about the state of the Clock Crew I have a graph I can provide you with.

These results are a tad inconclusive due to the limit I had doing any real data collection. It took so long I really couldn't be arsed for a doublecount.

Active recruits equals people who joined that month and posted at least once. Found by recording total recruits per month minus total inactive recruits, which means people who joined and never posted.

Also, August of 05 was thrown out because I couldn't tell exactly who were people who joined from the old site and new recruits. I counted all joiners after clockday to have a bit of a buffer, they still were up around 275, whereas we've had that many recruits in the last twenty months.
Its increase on the graph's bounds makes the last year or two hard to read as well.

I also acknowledge that I put down some people as recruits which I knew joined before .net. to save time.

I guess 15 or so active people a month with about 5 or so actually staying around has gotta be at least enough to make a sustainable population.
E: But, there was only one still-active recruit from last month, and this month it looks like the only guy we'll be keeping is Converse.

I'm tellin ya, now not having a lot of recruits is fine, but this community is going to age, we can't all stay here forever as much as I'd like to, and if there's no young base to support the elders it's just gonna collapse one of these days.
