Oh and as for this, I have a box that lets me separate those too. Each system has it's own button that makes it connected to the tv. With that and a powerstrip, you'll never have to deal with connecting and disconnecting cables again.

I just disconnect my front AV jacks to whatever system I want to play at the time. It's not exactly labour-intensive.
