Sexual Harassment

So, I'm a senior in High School, and I was called down to the office in school today. I wasn't too sure what for, but when I got there, I sat down with my friend, two girls, the principle, and some guy. Well, the principle introduced this man as the guy that deals with sexual harassment within the school district.

Now, I wasn't in there because I had sexually harassed these two girls, but I had apparently been harassing my art teacher, as had my friend and these 2 girls. Well, the sexual harassment guy informed us that my art teacher had come to him because there were conversations in her class about (and I quote) "Vagina's, balls, penises, and Jewish circumcision's." Yes, he flat out said said it too us, and we all started laughing, at which point we were again yelled at.

Now, in that class the day before, we for some reason got talking about nude modeling for art or something. And my friend says "I wouldn't be able too be a nude model, because I have foreskin that stretches about 3 feet long." And a girl at my table wondered why he wasn't circumcised, and he said because he wasn't a jew. And then we went on about Jewish circumcisions, which none of us really knew what the fuck we were talking about anyways.

So about a minute into the conversation, the teacher yells at us. And at first it was about how it was inappropriate. And then all of a sudden she bursts out "Right now, I'm being subjected to sexual...Harassment!" After she yelled harassment, the whole class bursted out laughing. And when she tried to keep going, I was still laughing the loudest amongst the other people trying to hold back.

Yeah so, I now have a weeks worth of detention for "sexually harassing" a teacher. Thanks for you're time, I just felt like I needed to post something, because I haven't in a long time.

Two of my friends got accused of sexual harassment when they talked at the same time as two girls. The teacher is a crazy feminist

Yeah, and apparently dis' bitch accused several other people of sexual harassment in the past before. Like when my girlfriends friends said "penis" in her class.

Haha, yeah. Well luckily they harassment guy said it wasn't a big deal, and no legal action would be taken, just detention.

I would go to her class early and write the definitions of the words "Conversation" and "Harassment" on the board.

If the conversation wasn't directed at or even connected to her in any way, then I fail to see how it could have anything to do with harassment.

That's what we thought. But apparently not, as the guy said that even if it wasn't directed toward someone, if they hear something that they don't like, it can be considered sexual harassment.

Although, I think if that teacher was really that anal about it and thought she could get away with suing them, she probably would have by now don't you think? They're probably just exercising a schools power to act as its own justice system in lieu of the real one.

From all of the sexual harassment training I've ever had, to include in the military, it can be considered sexual harassment even if it's not aimed at someone. Some examples they gave are telling dirty jokes in the break room or someone acting or talking lewd within earshot of others.

That might just be for specific workplaces, though, not to mention every state probably has its own laws for sexual harassment.
