well france - uruguay was pretty shit. Was really disappointed at gourcuffs game especially. he tried desperate shots way too much, but france in general have poor tactics. all they do is cross the ball to henry/anelka, both of whom aren't exactly good headers. they really ought to put another striker there or something

i wasn't really expecting anything because france have been shit for like a year now. if they up their game they may get somewhere, but it's gonna need a drastic tactical change. france should play like

 malouda    gourcuff          ribery
                toulalan/diaby
 evra    abidal   gallas   sagna

they really should get more men up front and abidal isn't even that great a pick at central defense. he's shit central and a proper central defender should be in his place


this afternoons first game will probably be south korea trying to break greece down and greece being defensively organized and playing on the counter as always. could be a fun game though you never know. 1-1's my guess but argentina - nigeria and england - usa are the real attractions today
