To be able to animate is to be able to express one's opinions and ideas in an exciting medium that allows for deeper interaction than simply looking at a picture. Sure, you could add a political message, or integrate some moral value within an animated story, but the main reason to animate is for enjoyment of both the animator and the viewers of the animation.

If you didn't enjoy viewing it, then at least I enjoyed making it, regardless of whether there was a "point" to it or not."
