hate to ring these bells, but what is different from the original experience-wise? I trust opinions from people who play way more than "game journalists"

There's basically just a bunch of new units. For instance the Terran now has a decent rush unit in the Reaper (Basically marines with grenade launchers who can jump off cliffs and avoid obstacles on the map, they're quite fast), Obviously its a much prettier game this time around with plenty of new maps and funny new sound clips for each unit. The new BNET looks rather impressive even though its just the beta, theres also some pretty awesome achievements and the ranking system is looking alot better this time around.

I'd say its definitely worth checking out if nothing else. I kinda scoffed at the idea of paying $100 for the limited edition of this but now I'm actually considering it...

The single player is what i'm most excited for personally, I hear theres a new challenge mode with challenges such as play the game using only the keyboard..

Imo same old same old but with a few different units/abilities.

It's fun to play with a friend though! We got the 2v2 Win Streak achievement and it was nice! Nothing like twarting two protos trying to tower rush and then raping their own base.

They made some great additions. I've been mostly playing Protoss, which has some awesome new stuff. Void Rays are amazing, as is the new unit building speed boosting ability. Motherships are cool too.

SC2 has hard counters. Typically for every unit, there are other units that will always destroy them if used correctly.

Everything else has also been refined. It's all around better.

I like the new Creep mechanic for the Zerg, Took me a while to figure out what the hell I was doing but once I got the jist of it I was back to my old Zerg rush ways.

Void Rays are by far the best Protoss Units, a squad of them backed up by a couple of Carriers usually wins the battle for me.

P.s. what visual settings have you guys got this on? Ultra on everything looks fucking amazing.
