It was swell, but I'm not a big fan of the bricks. I like the 5:00 shadow baby hater's body shape. I like the drums as well.

Sinister Clock

Just watched it, the only thing I didn't like was the motion blur on the bricks, it didn't really fit in with the rest of the style all too well. There were also some bits with motion-tweening which looked a bit off as well.

Hmm hmm. The bricks didn't really work without motion blur otherwise I wouldn't have done it. Without they just looked weird.

SpinningCubeClock

Despite what everyone said, I thought bricks looked good with the motion blur. I think it only stuck out because it was almost the only instance of it in the animation. Perhaps they were a little too blurry as well? I dunno, I liked it.

Also, the footsteps when the big man was walking past the crack in the wall didn't sync up properly with his 'up-down' motion imo, and the scream of the girl when they all broke free and the big man grabbed one had a bit of room echo on it. I'm probably being picky but I just thought I'd say something in case it comes down to sound design/foley stuff in the animation festivals.

ANYWAY GOOD WORK! I REALLY ENJOYED IT AND CANT WAIT TO SEE MORE ILY

Sinister Clock

have you tried drawing motion blur manually like this?

That's a really bad example but you get what I mean

Oh man there's a load more problems I'd like to fix but it's too much of a pain to go back into it now. I really should have made the process shorter. I'll be submitting to the student part of festivals though so they'll probably let me off for little things like that. The majority student films in festivals are really shoddy.

Yeah I'd have liked to do that instead but I was really running out of time. Pretty much all the bricks are just done with a particle generator in after effects.

Thanks though kids.
