with disc, it runs as loud as the older models without a disc running. without a disc, its absolutely silent.
250gb, i can install every game i own to hd and still have more room that i could possibly need.

best console hands down.

havent had time to check most of the later E3 stuff but this I like. The 360 makes way to much noise imo.



Also I don't like the 3Ds because frankly I find portable game consoles to be pretty nerdy, ok if you spend alot of time on trains/traffic whatever but I'd rather read a book than rape my eyes with bad graphics. Not to mention the instant brand of being a huge nerd

That's the flimsiest excuse I've ever heard. Also, the 3DS is purported to have at least wii-quality graphics if not better.

Graphics should never really be the biggest aspect when you're searching for a game anyway.

Indeed graphics is the least cared for of all aspects in a game, however I never found any real great game series on portables except the likes of Jrpgs, pokemon or Castlevania and I just don't find the time to waste more of my life on digital shit that usually does not contribute to evolving me as a person whereas a good book or whatnot is a more socially accepted medium.

Ofcourse if you dont give two fucks of what people think go on ahead and play the portables and their games and I can understand that there are enjoyable aspects of it, it's just really not my cup of tea.

Lastly, the term "at least wii-quality graphics" is the most redundant shit I've ever heard. Wii isn't a console in my eyes.

Don't support your argument by saying the only games worth playing are JRPGs and pokemon, man!

It kinda sounds like you're on a mission from God to make every action you commit move you several inches closer to the summum bonum and you can't partake in any actions that do not follow the divine path, even for the simple purposes of entertainment or distraction, Good for you!

Considering everyone in the world has a DS, I don't think that really works. Plus, it depends what book you're reading, buddy. It's also kinda nerdy to say "NOOOO I DON'T WANT THE GRAPHICS TO HURT MY EYESS AAAAAAAAARGHHH"

Those are the main reasons I'm getting it. I could use a 1250% upgrade in hard drive space. And my old console is getting out of warranty soon and my controller is fucked up.

Also, I've recently been getting into smoothies a lot. So the new blender is just an added bonus.

You can do that with the PS3 and the disks turn out fine as far as I've seen

I guess I could test that to make sure with one of my less-valuable ps2 disks.

if just by that it freaks out, I don't want to know what happens while playing vertical. It could mean the slightest movement could rape your games

No see that was my point, I have no idea of what games there could possible be on those things that I'd want to play because ugly jrpgs bore me and I've always, always hated pokemon.

Actually it is kind of like that at times, but then I just decide not to look into it or analyze it to much and just feel what I feel and take in the spontanious feeling. And what I feel is I don't want to play portables and I generally feel some ill towards them as a phenonom.

Nah I just don't want to play games that feel like they're 6 year old. There are some diamonds in the rough but in general most games are not that good and adding shitty graphics aswell as cost = not attractive to me.
