Gears of War 2: 8x xp weekend

To celebrate Canada Day and the 4th of July here in the states, Epic Games Rob Fergusson (GearsViking) has announced yet another crazy XP event for Gears of War 2. The 6x XP throughout E3 was a big hit, so how do you feel about 8x XP?

The catch is that this bonus XP only applies to Horde mode, which will be adjusted ever so slightly for this event. Waves 1-9 of Horde mode will be all Tickers. Wave 10 is going to be all Boomers.

If you were not able to get Rank 100 during E3, now is your time to finish clearing that hurdle. At this rate though, we will have a 12x XP event for Talk Like A Pirate Day.
