I think it's time I buy a new headset since my old one has been broken for 100 years. Does anyone know of any good headsets with surround sound that are compatible with the xbox 360 as well?

Question: Since that new update that allows 360's to read flash drives, can they use usb headsets that are for the PC? If so, then I'd have some possible suggestions for you.

I think they can... It's possible that only audio plugs will work though so I don't really know.

The XBOX360 is very similar to an average gaming PC, it should have no problem.

This is what I use. Great sound quality, crystal clear mic, standard headphone/mic jacks. It also comes with an adapter to allow it to be used through USB too.

EDIT: Not sure if it can be used with the 360, as I don't have one.

Logitech: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104214&cm_re=usb_headset-_-26-104-214-_-Product I used to have a pair of these and they work well for me. The only downside is that I like my headphones to go completely around my ear and noise cancel, but that's just me.

Of course now though I use a usb mic and headphones separately.

What you need to get is a pair of turtle beach http://www.turtlebeach.com/ .
They run around $60 (dunno how they fair in europe) but they are usb powered, come with an adapter for the 360 and sound excellent. I even use them for music production and things like that. Great bass, clean sounding mic and a solid price.
