so i went to youtube to see if anyone had put up alex edlers' goal on his own net and youtube corrected me:

apparently theres no video of that because 'its nine o clock saturday' and also i am a 'ringer' (i think it was trying to call me a nigger)

AbsintheClock

Poor Boog. One of the scariest guys on the ice is no more. Nobody in the NHL has quite reached out and touched somebody like Boog. Really hard multiple times in the face.

im not gonna lie

i was surprised we took game 1 from the sharks

AbsintheClock

Don't worry it's still early in the round for both teams. I see both the east and west going a few games longer than normal. (6 or 7)

Quote from: clammo;1821012why? vancouver has won something like 7 straight game 1s. its game 2 that they really shit the bed.

not this game 2

Bad news for the thrashers. Apparently Lil Wayne isn't interested in investing in them.

Anyhow real hockey talk. Got game 3 tonight, and that should be plenty interesting. Not only do I think it's good to bring hockey to Florida, I think it's great for the fans to get to see their grandparents a little more often. I'm expecting defense to be a little tighter, and I think Seguin will probably get more minutes but not as many as he'd probably deserve.

Also I didn't catch too much of last night's game with Vancouver, but I saw highlights and I watched the 2nd period and about 1/4 of the 3rd. (Which in my opinion sums it up) Sharks are going to melt down pretty quick. Sucks too because I picked the Sharks to win that series, but then again I picked Detroit before that. I hope Vancouver's time off keeps them dull in the finals.

Bruins V. Bolts will probably go six or seven games.

3 - 1 series for vancouver booyah

i thought the 3 five-on-three powerplay goals in a row were absolutely hilarious. san jose refs were pretty biased towards the sharks in game 3 but i guess they are canucks fans now

Are you kiddin' me? The refs have been soft to the Canucks this entire series. I saw no less than three slashes where the refs just looked the other way.

oh ya well i saw like 10 slashes from san jose so what
Quote from: clammo;1822223i dont know how you can say too many men and delay of game penalties are favours from the refs
i cant tell your talking to me or even which game your talking about specifically

but recently there's been more shitty penalties called than those two, both sides included

miracle fruit

so they're gettin pretty serious about bringing back the winnipeg jets eh

Marlin Clock

Do they have enough of a market for that? I thought that's why they went to Phoenix in the first place.

this is canada we're talking about

Marlin Clock

Quote from: clammo;1822823winnipeg died due to a combination of terrible canadian dollar and lack of corporate support. both of which are currently very strong in winnipeg, quebec city and hamilton, and all 3 could support an nhl team better than markets like phx, atl, nash, fla and dal.
Well i guess I wouldnt mind Winnipeg, it would definitely take balancing the conferences out of the issues of moving them.
Maybe they could switch them out with the Avelanche so that the Northwest isn't so top-heavy like it was this year.

AbsintheClock

I'd like to see Detroit come to the east. It'll never happen though.

Only if the Blackhawks still get to play them six times a year.

Marlin Clock

So yeah, after watching that game, I'm pretty sure the Canucks have no chance.
Quote from: clammo;1823012itll prob be like jets to NW, avs to pacific, stars to central and nashville to SE.

even though it doesnt really make sense since detroit and columbus are more east than nashville. maybe columbus would go to SE instead. nashville seems more suited for SE imo

Wait, we're talkin Atlanta? Not just the Coyotes moving back to Winnipeg?

Also why does that map have Winnipeg in Saskatchewan?

will you calm down already? your team lost in the first round. quit acting like a sore loser (id est rooting for every team the vancouver canucks seem to face)

oh yeah 1 - 0 that was a fucken beastly win anyway

miracle fruit

Quote from: clammo;1823149yeah it actually was if you watched the game.

1-0 games are often much more entertaining games than 6-5 shootouts. i guess you wouldnt know since you only watch vancouver games herp herp

sounds like a bunch of pussies that cant manage to score a goal to me

yep also this makes no sense

im thinking your the one that doesn't watch hockey if you think vancouver games are high scoring shoot outs all the time (nashville series hello)
