There are award mods for this version of vbulletin, so it is possible to bring them back. We are just trying to find a good way to work them into the layout/system that we are planning.

Yah, a lot of people on clocktopia were saying that they'd probably come back if there was awards and a nicer skin.

if theres something about the site you dont like, you should offer up ways to improve it, instead of just needlessly bitching without making a single constructive comment.

I really miss that old skin (can't recall the name), it had a really simple, childish feel to it ( CLOCK CREW at the top was written in multi colored crayon too if I remember correctly)

Just dropped back because today when I woke up I thought, "oh yeah. clockcrew." I've been too busy to have 5 seconds of free time to post too. Most of you guys probably can't remember me since I never really posted a whole lot, but I spent many a night on the forums whenever it was that I did that.  I guess its just been because I only ever made Flash videos when I had a date to meet or something like that. I have like no real motivation to make full animations anymore.  What was clock day '10 like?

I don't remember where, but I remember someone suggesting a skin that looked pretty epic... I think someone applied it to a page called bacon and it looked awesome, but I'm not sure. Anyone else remember this? I think it had a burger at top...

What have you done exactly to earn awards? You made a flash movie. Are you telling me that you want validation for doing the very reason you signed up to this forum?

We are of the opinion that you should do something INCREDIBLE if you are to receive an award for it. Making flash should be business as usual. We are appreciative that you make flash for the group, but you should not be doing it for a 10x10 pixel icon under your name.

We've offered plenty of ways for people to contribute to the site (tutorials, articles, clockopedia pages that only a select few have even expressed interest in doing) and you want us to give you awards for doing the BARE MINIMUM it takes to be a clock?

It's supposed to encourage people to animate and participate in events and such.

Sorry, didn't realize I was complaining; I was just telling clam that some people on clocktopia told me they left due to the awards, and I said that we should add the awards again so new members would be inclined to animate (that's actually why I started using flash ).
