Hey Guys! Just wanted to show you something I worked about a day or two on, it's a clock crew intro that I made, I used the newgrounds intro and changed it up. I know it's been done before, but I felt like doing it, though it was suprisingly tedious, anyways here it is: http://www.newgrounds.com/dump/item/8d42568140ff5b08dd6dea26d60eccff

I put peppermintclock on it as my own personal touch :P I wanted to do some cool colors with it, but I figured I'd do it later and just share my thing with you guys now.

we've already got one of those- you can see it in a few of my animations, like this one.

Like I said, I know it's been done before, but I just wanted to experiment with it :sombrero:

I think it's quite neato actually:)
I'm not too much into the small balls for hands though, but I guess that's just personal taste.

Loki Clock

Great, now do it again and don't spend a whole day.

I just use them for hands because they're simple and less time consuming, if I wasn't as lazy maybe I would draw actual hands lol.

Excuses. They take so much time because you just don't do it enough. If you do something new each time, you'll have fun and start getting faster before you know it. Male hand, female hand, red hand, dead hand, old hand, cold hand, ruffle on the wrist, ring on the finger, middle finger, sign language, just think of things. Make a list and give yourself an hour to draw them all.

If you don't want to do hands throughout a whole animation, you can have the shape be a ball for most of the animation, but as a hand only when helpful. With some artistic tact you can keep this transition from seeming out of place to the viewer. If the clock is slapping someone, a ball hand looks out of place, because you'd expect a blunt force from it. If the clock is holding something with a ball hand, one tends to get a glued-onto-a-paper-doll impression. So it's only appropriate to change. If that fails and your laziness shows to the viewer, oh well. You're not an expert artist overnight. But you've pushed yourself a little further.
