And you are just being an idealist.

What king of 'raging fight' are you even talking about? It's already been shown that people outside of Japan protesting does nothing. The US is not going to impose any kind of sanctions on Japan for this either, because it would hurt our relationship with them, which as of late been becoming more strained.

They aren't farming them. Farming them would be growing them in captivity to be butchered and eaten. They fish for these animals, and I think everyone agrees that overfishing any animal is a bad idea for the environment, economy, and food supply.

However if someone protests the killing these animals for food because they somehow seem more 'human' than other animals we eat, then they are just an idiot.
