So I've been watching Madoka Magica.

At the surface, it's simply a moe magical girl anime. But ummm I think this is like the one that could end them all.

It could be hard to explain why exactly without avoiding spoilers, but it's a pretty darn grim show.

Why are all those bullet(?) holes all the same width despite them appearing on parts of the body that vary in thickness?

Actually they all kinda vary in thickness, but the thickness is still pretty erratic. One on the one side of the head is much thinner than one on the other side of the head where the head would curved the exact same way.  What's more is that the one that is thicker is the one that, by where we're looking at it from, would appear thinner since there would be less to see since we see it near the edge, while the thinner one is closer to us and we should be seeing a lot more since it's neighbored by the whole rest of the head.

Unless I'm looking at this wrong.

Because it wanted to do the swiss cheese thing instead of the explode-into-a-pulpy-mess thing that would actually happen considering a wall of lead just burst what is essentially a collection of balloons containing the liquid most mammals are comprised of.

Artistic license to be sure, trying to make the gore cartoony. It's only a hop skip and jump away from the blackened, blasted daffy duck blunderbuss face.

Idno if you could call Kyubey a regular mammal.
