I don't think they'll put something like that in the game because it would be too easy to grief with. TF2 goes to extreme measures to prevent griefing.

There was a lot of speculation before the Pyro Update came out, and a few of my friends, as well as people online, practically assumed there would be some form of napalm or gasoline. We wanted to be able to pour a flammable material on the ground that we could light with our flamethrower. I'd expect something like this to do like 20% less damage from burns, or burn for less time. It just seems so easy to code, and so obvious, we were saddened by what we were given. :(

well, spraying meatspin or being useless does, obviously.

gravelpit valve put a rock over the hole
dustbowl I believe they put a playerclip over the wall
I think you can still heal spies after they drop the cloak but doing it on purpose takes so much coordination it's not usually worth it
teleporters still keep you from walking up hills but, again, a lot of coordination is required for anything meaningful
they fixed most of the teleporter holes
the civilian class got removed
