Quote from: biggs;1834006also just so i'm clear on the functions of the buttoms now...

- the big giant "reply to thread" button(s) at the top/bottom of the column are meant to be the advanced reply button(s)
- the "reply" button underneath each post is meant to be the in-thread quick reply button
- the "reply with quote" button underneath each post is meant to be the advanced quote button

stop me if i'm wrong with any of those, especially since i never cared for the quick reply function and am happy i won't have to adjust to it now.  was the function always without a sort of "quick quote" button, though?  this might be something that others would be worried about.

all of this is correct.

e: I don't think there ever was a quick quote function. Quoting may have always led to the advanced reply page.

Quote from: RibsClock;1834019I dislike that I will often go to a page, not do anything to the text field at all and yet it will still pop up the already annoying notice asking me if I want to abandon changes.

I think this can be fixed by having an admin (Piney) go to Settings > Options > Message Posting and Editing Options > Yes, click required. I'm sure he'll get to it later when he gets home :)

Quote from: topcatyo;1833192Not a skin bug but it's kinda related so I'll post it here.

Whenever I try and change any general settings, I get the error message

Me too. The answer is Carrot Clock, right?

Are you still having this problem? If so I need to disable the question - it's not stopping the bots, anyways

done

Thanks.

Apparently the setting entirely removes the Quick Reply box until the user clicks the Reply button. I don't know how practical this is now, but we can always change it back later.

again, not a bug here, but could we change the color of the usernames of normal users?  the light reddish color we've got right now is really putting a strain on my eyes and it's probably not just me!

RobClock

It doesn't bother me, but for the first little bit i kept thinking everyone was an admin.

Thor

The skin can only show 5 awards at a time. Nobody can see my B award!
Quote from: MafiaMettaurWhat the hell is with that shit you posted? You know what, I'm joining the Locks, just to stop stuff like you!
Quote from: polyhedronclockYou're a fucking clock, what else do you have?
To be fair, you don't have anything. Clocks are just machines that tick.

AmberArachnidClock

now the mods are salmon colored... can't they be purple or something?

is this also the nuskoo bug thread, or should we make another topic for that?
edit: oh nevermind there is a nuskoo thread welp.

i mean i'm just for simplicity and ease on the eyes, however the staff wants to situate the usergroup colors is up to them

BUT

i think the colors were pretty solid before the skin change (i.e. - users normal color, smods/admins dark blue and tannish, respectively)

Biggskoo

Quote from: clammo;1835325i vaguely remember the smod color code being #123456

how crteaive

User colors have been changed to a default blue, supermods and administrators are now #2F1256 (purple). If you have any suggestions that could work in all the skins, let us know and we'll make the changes.

User names are black, mods are blue, admins are marigold
