For anyone that doesn't know, it's a fantasy card game, basically a digital Magic the Gathering. You pay money for packs of cards, like in other TCG.

Yeah, but this isn't some poor little indie dev getting bullied by a big megacorp as some people seem to be painting it. Notch has more than enough money to fight this battle for as long as it could hypothetically last, especially since Bethesda has no ground to stand on. Bethesda is probably just doing this shit so they can set a precedent of defending their copyright so they can keep it (I'm pretty sure that's how US copyright laws work but I'm not a law major so if somebody who is could comment on that it would be appreciated)
