It doesn't mean they can't keep them in court long enough to put a long halt on any progress on the game, or drain Mojang's resources. That's assuming they don't find a way to enforce their claim.

Good point. If they're truly depending on Mojang running out of resources before them... I don't thinking Mojang would stand much of a chance, given Bethesda's position in the industry.

Who cares, scrolls sounds like a horrible game. I would be none the sadder if they just gave up on it.

There's also the fact that he's integrated community mods such as better lighting without giving credit to the authors, and attempted to charge modders for a devkit which was essentially just the game's source code.

The only valid arguments I see here is the one about future versions of minecraft, and how he ripped off Infiniminer. They still do updates and fixes in minecraft. Did you miss the Piston update?

Would you rather not have him include interesting new ideas modders come up with?

As for them working on another game, you realize there is a large group of people who work in his development team? What is wrong with having multiple projects?
