Wait, 10 day trial? I thought Blizzard made WoW free to play up until level 20. The only MMO I play is Guild Wars, so I won't be joining. I am just curious about the purpose of the 10 day trial.

World of warcraft killed my productivity levels far too much a few years ago.

And my brother has been playing for like what 5 or 6 years nonstop so i dont want to see fucking WoW anymore than I have to.

You hit level 20 in like a day or two, really.

As time commitments go, that's becoming much less of a thing. Leveling is quick (especially with the experience bonus), and end-game content is becoming more and more accessible. Next patch will introduce a system where you can actually enter a queue for individual raid bosses in a randomly generated group. No more scheduling a time to play video games.

Hahahahaha not even. I never feel like I have to play Minecraft on a given day, or make a minecraft commitment. It would not be far-fetched at all to catch me playing WoW six hours a day every day including weekends, more on a day where there's a raid. My total hours standing around in fucking Ironforge probably outstrip my total hours played in Minecraft ever. I had the epic gold battleground armor back pre-BC, if that tells you how much time I wasted.

While that's often been true for me too, it's usually just because I don't have anything better to do. I hardly play at all now, other than to arena cap and play with my new Pally a little. It can still be fun to play without being in eating drinking and shitting wow mode.
