SockpuppetClock

good thing I never watched any of those shows my childhood is now only thematically flawed

PolearmClock

Heh the only one I didn't already know about was Spider Man. The fact that Dairanger and Kakuranger never really got their own adaptations is disappointing really. But what can ya do.

Quote from: AlbinoClock;1867848Beetle Borgs.

The only thing I remember, or even really knew at the time about that show, was that annoying refrain in the theme song.

"Biiiiiig
Baaaaad
Beeeeeetleborgs!"

How about some Mummies Alive, people? That was a fuckin' SHOW!

Also good.

I really liked Cybersix, too, but that could just have been a canadian thing.

Hells yeah, Cybersix! I've got the whole series on my MP3 player.

Also, get on AIM you son of a bitch.

EtchASketchClock

Who remembers VR Troopers?
All 3 main protagonists were from different shows.

Steve

I recall Power Rangers first airing, and the later spiderman, but others were already running.

AlbinoClock

Wow the Japanese version of Battle Borgs looks a hell of a lot better.

Also, Gargoyles. Technically, none of the characters in Gargoyles were gargoyles, they were all grotesques. If there were a bulimic one it might have been considered a gargoyle.

VCRClock

I am a dude who has vague memories of VR Troopers.

I also watched Power Rangers as a kid, but I was too young back then to even consider that it might have come from more than one source.
<Marlin Clock> This thread seems proof positive that divisiveness at any level is usually bad for the Clock Crew.
<PhantomCatClock> are we talking about the same clock crew

NintendrCkolc

the only reason I remember VR troopers is because of the damn theme song which along with the "Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego" just kinda stuck with me throughout the years.

Other then that, I didn't watch it all that often but I have vague memories of when I did. Even as a child I felt like it was a cheap knockoff of Power Rangers.

GearBoxClock

The Starship Troopers show was pretty good also

FLOUNDERMAN_CLOCK

VR Troopers was a great show, I loved the toys.

AlbinoClock

ROCKAPELLA! OH YEAH!

The best part of waking up is Folger's in your cup!

Dude, it was all about "Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?" Hell, the theme song was done to the tune of Mozart!

I would not say it aged that gracefully, though.

AlbinoClock

I had forgotten about that cartoon completely.

NintendrCkolc

I wasn't really talking about the cartoon show. I hated that cartoon.

I was more so talking about the awesome game show that used to be on PBS.
