Graphic art is no different than a story or an essay. Plagiarizers deserve death.

It sucks to think that you may get him expelled, but fuck man, plagiarism is just unacceptable. It's unfair to everyone whom is actually working hard to earn the grades that they earn. There are too many fucking cheaters at school.

I was PyramidHustler. I guess you could say that I was relatively obscure. I was quite friendly with HawaiianPunchClock and BananaClock.

I'm actually probably an older member than you are. I mean, I'm not saying that for sure, but I've been around since Olskoo's site.

I eat and breathe because of the will to preserve myself; it seems to be embedded in all life.  I never consented to being born.

I don't see why this is so hard for you to understand. Your using a rather lame argument of semantics-- which I have chosen to stray away from for obvious reasons-- to refute my argument. It's pretty fucking obvious that when I said that science preaches I did not mean the abstraction of science itself; it was clearly in reference to the majority of society and academia who follows its principles. Can I make that anymore clear? And for the record I don't intend to say that scientific data can be incorrect-- which is again extremely obvious-- but I mean, and said, that the scientific method lacks validity. CAN YOU GET THIS THROUGH YOUR HEAD? THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD IN ITSELF MAY BE INCORRECT DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT BASED ON THE PREMISE THAT HUMAN LOGIC AND RATIONALITY ARE CORRECT IN THEMSELVES.

Your assumption that our interpretation of reality is the only interpretation or the correct one is a HUGE assumption. The way that we perceive objects is probably drastically different than how they exist in reality, and they could possibly be perceived in an infinite number of ways. Your example of using the internet isn't that great. It proves that we are clever enough to utilize our natural environment. A beaver can build a dam; we can build a computer. What's your point? We all die after a very short amount of time, and any technological advancement made by science has been utterly useless on us. Our time in universal time is infinitesimal, just as is our intelligence. Don't label my claims meaningless just because you don't understand them. As a follower of science-- at least I assume-- you must recognize them as being logically sound.

I don't have time to reply to all of these threads individually, so I'll be brief.

To the ones that are arguing that the scientific method is not dogmatic and is completely valid:

You are wrong. The scientific method has become nothing more than a contemporary religion; it is the catholic church of our times. It preaches an infallible doctrine, and anyone who attempts to dispute it is labeled as ignorant or stupid-- just as you are doing to me. However, the scientific method is based on assumptions-- the assumption that human logic and rationality, as well as empiricism, as the correct methods of approaching a problem. While this may yield as certain results, such as in the fields of chemistry and engineering, that are good for the advancement of techno-industrial society-- which I do not necessarily believe in-- it has not and will never (as far as I can tell) answer the more important metaphysical questions. When science tells me what the purpose of life is, or what existed before this existence, then perhaps I will respect science a bit more. But it will never do that.

Second:

You need to be careful when you call people ignorant, lest you look like a moron yourself. I don't try to play off the whole erudition label like some of you are attempting to do-- notice I said attempting. In the grand scheme of things, all of us are truly ignorant. Intelligence means nothing due to the fact that knowledge is infinite and no matter how much knowledge one gains, it does not change the fact that this collection of knowledge is finite. Any number divided by infinite is infinitesimal. There is truly no difference between Stephen Hawking and a mentally I'm a edgy teen person if you look at things in universal terms. I've actually been pretty fucking polite to the lot of you whom have shown nothing but true ignorance yourself. You have done nothing but imbue this with ignorance and intolerance..

Third:

The thing that I brought up about eternal recurrence was just for fucking shits and giggles! Get over it! I wasn't trying to say that I actually believed that to be true. I was making conversation for christ's sake! This is is the first time that I've been back to to Clock Crew in like three years, so I wanted to see what was going on. There's not reason for all this shit.

I know nothing except the fact of my ignorance.

Stop trying to argue with me, because  I really don't care. I came here to make Clock movies, and to watch Clock movies.

Let the insults roll...

The cold iron of the park bench felt like ice cutting into my back. It was unusually cold for an October night; the crescent moon grinned above me, like a ubiquitous growl over all the city. It’s pale light slipped through the branches of the willow trees, and laid haphazardly and softly upon the park. Ah, the moon and I: two lonely drifters, orbiting around an uncaring planet, united for a few moments to give each other company. The wind washed over my feet, and the grass moved in undulations. The street lamp flickered at varying frequencies, and I hoped that it would at least stay lit long enough for me to get through the current chapter. It was an intriguing play, and in a ominous way it seemed to be a act out some recent events in my life; but that is another story, for another time and place. The yelping of an angry car alarm distracts meâ€" “Back away from me nigger, all eyes are on you now!â€" it seems to say. The wind was being insubordinate; it grabbed the pages from my fingers and slammed them backwards. I decided that nature should have its wish, and I shut the book. It’s time for a break. After a struggle, I grabbed a filter less cigarette from within my burnt sienna micro-suede sports jacket and successfully lit it. Instantly, after drawing a few puffs, the nicotine flooded my brain. The wild white wisps floated into the sky, untamed. They dissipated into infinity, undergoing innumerable changes in their plight. This is the story of our lives. If we are lucky!
But I am the curious type. The act was just too engaging. I ran my hands across the red Moroccan leather cover, and fingered my way throughout the book until I arrived where I had left off. And then the heavens wept. Within fifteen seconds, a slight mist became a torrential downpour. My cigarette was abruptly snuffed; it became soggy and limp. We always die before our time. The ink began to run; my book became illegible. One moment a masterful work of art and soul; the next moment a lifeless mass of pulp of fluid.  Yet the heavens were indifferent; perhaps they had just slobbered and drooled with boredom. It is hard to impress the eternal, and my mediocrity was appalling. As soon as it had begun, it was over. It was one of those days that you wish you had never stepped outside at all.

Quote from: CadillacClock;1304934Because your post were so fucking stupid it was unimaginable.

Physics means nothing.
Science is trash.
The biggest question in life is whether one should commit suicide or not.

You don't believe in science, existence, or anything at all. Yet, you still find time to tell everyone else that they are wrong. That our physical evidence is only as we percieve and that our perception are untrue. Which, may vary well be true but to discredit all natural laws, physics, and sciences all together because you assume it to be a lie is ignorance at its finest.

You clearly do not study Neurology, any Sciences, Cosmology or Astrology. You know nothing of what you preach and choose ignorants to remain Nihilistic.

I don't see how my post was stupid. Your post is nothing but pretentious shit. I never went about telling people that they were wrong; that was what everyone in the room was telling me. I have no abandoned science for that sole assumption; I have abandoned it because it has given us nothing but dash-board knowledge about life. It has simply told us "how" instead of "why". There is nothing impressive about analytical description of a natural phenomena.

I don't study Neurology, any sciences, cosmology, or astrology? Considering astrology is basically pseudo-science, I surely don't study that, Ms. Cleo. In regards to neurology, and any other sciences, I actually did study those on the undergraduate level, and I chose not to pursue them because in order to be successful in them it requires you to wear blinders to the rest of the world. Specialization is lame.
