Mario's cool, Sonic's at least OK by Japanese standards (his current American voice actor, the 4kids one, sucks in my opinion), and Lucario is just awful. However, both Sonic and Lucario look fun to play as, and I liked playing as Mario in Melee.

Sonic is one of those things that his own fanbase hurt (4Kids cast, for example, is because of them). For me, Lucario is just another of the 493. Only few really stand out to me, and he's just not one of them.

However, there's characters like Mario, who never loses any speck of cool over the ages. I can barely remember a non-spin-off Mario game doing really terrible, and then and there his spin-offs aren't that bad either, notably Mario Kart.

Agreed here. 4kids killed Sonic's voice. Ryan Drummond did quite a swell job, and he's a very good and well-renowned voice actor. Jason Griffith is a mediocre voice actor who does just about every obnoxious young male 4kids character out there, except for the male kids, who are done my this one equally mediocre (voice acting-wise) lady. In Sonic's case, she now does Tails. If you ask me, Sonic was coolest in Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. You know, the one that all those Robotnik poops are based off of. Speaking of that, what in the world is up with "Eggman"? It should've stayed "Robotnik."

I never even heard of Lucario before Brawl, and I only remember the first 151 Pokemon as being significant. The first 251 struck me as moderately significant, and I barely have a clue about the rest, except for Palkia (because it looks cool) and Lucario, because of Smash.

In my opinion, Mewtwo is way cooler than Lucario. Speaking of Mewtwo, I don't like how he didn't have an English voice in Melee. They just used the Japanese grunts and stuff in place of where he would normally speak Japanese. Don't get me wrong, his Japanese voice actor sounded cool, but they made him not say anything just because they couldn't get anyone to do English. Marth and Roy talked in Japanese.

Mario's always been cool. Both old and new Mario are cool. He's like the StrawberryClock of video games. Even the TV show and Hotel Mario iterations of him were cool.

No you see Sonic is just gay.

He is, completely ignoring all the other factors outside of the brawl franchise, Lucario is a far better player than Mewtwo is.
