It played on Comedy Central a while ago, and it was the single most beautiful thing I ever witnessed. It started off slow, but after the first 10 minutes, it just kept building and building and never slowed down. A nearly flawless effort by all of those involved.

If you're not familiar with the show, then don't look to it as an introduction, as much of the humor contained within are in-jokes. Not only this, being acquainted with past episodes became extremely crucial to understanding the plot, which was probably the most confusing thing I had ever seen. I won't give anything away, but I will say it involves a lot of time travel.

Did anybody else catch it? What were your thoughts?

It feels good to say what I want. It feels good to knock things down. It feels good to see the disgust in their eyes. It feels good and I\'m gonna go wild. SPRAY! PAINT! THE! WALLS!

I saw Bender's Big Score and it was great, better than the Simpsons Movie which had the theatrical release. So.. they aren't actually showing the new episodes yet?

Kind of. I believe Futurama is slated for 3 more movies, and Comedy Central plans to broadcast all of them as four-parters, probably as a plan to innagurate the show back to television and gain an audience. The problem with this is that the show has already developed a strong cult following, so the writers will be specifically looking to entertain fans, hence tons of in-jokes. I foresee trouble for the show in the future, as this is not really the way to draw new audiences to a show.

I just saw it, goddamn that was awesome. It was also the most inside references I've ever seen in anything ever

I didn't really like it. The jokes seemed forced and the plot was inane, especially the end. Anyone could realize if what he was doing was going back in time, stealing stuff, and then waiting to re-emerge thousands of years later, there would be only one Bender in the future.

I liked the end as in you find out that Fry is Lars and all that closure.

I didn't like the end as in the joke where Bender invites all the other Benders up and the universe dies. That one particular joke at the very end was the only one that seemed really lame and just tacked on for no reason.

I realized that once he called off the wedding because of duplicates being doomed, though, they could have made it a little less obvious :grumpy:

Also they used the executive powder gag to death and then dredged it up from the bowels of hell just to use it to death again.

I figured out that Lars was Fry when I noticed that their voices sounded similar. My first thought was "oh yeah, that's clearly Billy West" but then realised "no wait, he's a good voice actor, perfectly capabel to creating 2 distinct voices." Once I looked at Lars' nose, I knew for sure

I noticed their similar voices but didn't figure it out until right near the end.

You know what, fuck you guys. You're all full of shit. I don't believe for a second that any of you knew that Lars was Fry before it was revealed.

Just because you're a little slow doesn't mean we all are.
