Original with textures and shit to make it look decent.



Crazy version with overlay filter thingy I forgot.



So I started with 4 very thick brush strokes for the sky and went crazy with smudge tool. Same for the ground. Then zoomed in and drew the tree with shading and lines on it. Got one overall old texture to put over everything, one for the ground, and clouds for the sky.

What you think?

Looks like something you'd see hanging on the wal of a museum, or on the mantle of some crazy rich guy's fireplace.

Vary nice work, I really like it.

I like the first and not so much the 2nd. You have good skill, and nice use of color. The overall work is very organic but don't be afraid to use some blacks, and grey-ish dark greens in that tree too.

the tree isn't a very convincing one,

some branches aren't attached, everything grows in unnatural directions and three branches is too bald

some of the color contrasts are nice but the texture overlay isn't really helping it
