Quote from: PropagandaClock;1441824I agree in the point that republicans seem quite spineless when boo'ing McCain for praising Obama.

Give him a chance now and frolic with the rest of the world where more than 75% are for Obama.
Be glad that your country is no longer considered a cancer on the world but a cure for its ills and wrongs.
It can't get worse so hope for the best.

i probably should aim to be gracious like obama but when you live in the state that went 63% for mccain, it isnt difficult to find the worst of republicans

RomanClock

Its funny how when democratic candidates win, democrats insult republics, but when republicans win, democrats demand recounts.

You lost the battle, but won the war.

Usually I would try to reason or debate with you Roman, but you're just a naive republican and will probably never change.
Not being American I can not even begin to understand how you must be feeling right now but I image nothing I would say could make it worse... and that thought makes me happy.
Nothing personal, but there is nothing you can say or do now that can make a difference, your ideas and idealogies lost and the whole world is cheering.

Quote from: Flux;1441772What he doesn't catch is that the cut for people is huge, so it will make a difference. It isn't a small cut.

No, it is not huge at all. It may be huge relative to what the lowest 10% have but above that its a waste of money.

Quote from: Lexington;1441817You mean it's both where they came from?
I mean Joe Shuster was Canadian-born, but he and his American partner Jerry Siegal created and published their hero in America, and raised him on Truth, Justice, and the American way.

Superman went to hell and wanted to save everybody there, and he was sad that he couldn't.

People in hell.

By the way Roman,

Notice how they, the democrats, cheer when he mention and praise McCain.

Whilst, if you check the video of McCain losing speech, the republicans boo.
I would say the democrats are quite humble and quick to admit that McCain was and still is a great hero of the american people.

i respect mccain and i believe he genuinely has the country's best interest in mind

i however have no respect for the ugliness that has come out of his campaign or his supporters

Kombucha

I find it admirable that McCain still served in Vietnam after being held and tortured there for five years.

Very nice election, I'm glad Obama won over McCain though I did not vote for him. In my opinion he was the better choice out of the two for president. I look forward to social issues like stem cell research, drug prohibition, abortion, gay marrage, and other such things being approached with a liberal point of view for a change.

I know that it isn't popular here as it is a conservative viewpoint, but I'm saddened that our second amendment will soon be restricted. I'm pretty certain that he will attempt to pass an assault weapons ban and eventually probably try to go for a pistol ban as well. Oh well. I'd rather surrender part of that right than have the entire country go to shit... or get shittier I guess I should say.
