So I have just discovered that I completely forgot to award the Most Original story awards in my last two writing contests "WALKING AROUND YOUR MIND" and "THE GIFT". I especially regret this oversight in the last contest, because it brought some stunningly original writing from the Clock Crew!

I would like to make right this mistake, so I'm holding voting for this award in both these contests immediately! Please read the entries from the previous two contests, if you need a refresher, and vote for the one story that has the most clever and inventive use of imagination. Plot or style isn't that important, just vote for the story that came up with the greatest collection of new ideas.

Okay, I've decided.

Most Original for "Walking Around Your Mind" is WindupClock's Untitled, an endlessly humourous story with a mind full of unusual and wonderful geography and gadgetry, imperfect yet classic. I also praise his effervescent diction that made reading the story truly a joy.

Most Original for "The Gift" is Mechanus' No Better Fortress, the fable about a king that only wanted the greatest gift that he could give his son, but this gift ends up killing him. A chilling irony that got me right here.
