It's not just that they're fast.

Cubs have this hair on their back that looks like a badass mohawk.
Males can pee at any angle to mark territory.
They're the only big cats that can purr.
They have a unique social order where a group of males join together to hunt called a "coalition". These coalitions are more inclusive and casual than most other big cat packs.
They have no collarbone.
I think they can be kept as pets (but shouldn't be).
