With longer hair, if you wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner every day it doesn't look as good. Some people even go so far as to wear shower caps because of that.

I tend to shower every two days or whenever I just happen to be feeling dirty (or when it's cold out and I want to warm up). People tend to inform me if I smell, on the off-chance that I'm not personally aware of it. No complaints thus far.

But it's more fun to assume I'm a greasy hippy that totally avoids showering because it's unnatural. Clocks need their creature comforts.
