I like that it takes away the usual ability to cloak. I started playing spy properly last week when the spy update was revealed (what's the point in playing with new weapons if you suck?) and got the hang of cloaking, running behind enemy lines, disguised, stabbing/sapping and cloaking straight away for the getaway.

With the dead ringer, there's more challenge. I have to continuously act like the opposing team, and change my disguise almost every time I am seen, whereas before I may have cloaked and run away, I might run round a corner, disguise as someone else then run back.

Whereas previously I might get a few stabs in per life (being killed by any good pyro, as soon as he realised I'm there), now I can hold the DR until the exact moment I stab, meaning that if I am figured out, I can, in seconds, hide, re disguise, and come back. The enemy don't expect the same spy to respawn so quickly, and so spycheck less. If they do spycheck I can just do it all again.

In short: I love the Dead Ringer

I finally unlocked something I didn't have, the razor back. It seems silly that it disables the SMG AND reduces your speed by 25%.

the smg kinda sucks anyway.
