my housemate downloaded the demo and watching him jump around and stuff made me want to play it but as soon as I did I found out that the climby jump stuff feels like dull samey shit because you can literally just press X over and over again without putting any thought into it

the story and design is the most generic cock I've seen for ages it's like a child's attempt to recreate something cool he saw on tv

Look at Shadow of the Colossus, all it had story-wise was a vague save the princess spiel, but it was still fucking amazing.

Played the demo. Not incredibly exciting but a great game nonetheless.

I think the climbing and stuff works great - imagnie if you had to be precise in a game like this, you'd be pulling your fucking hair out after failing to climb a building and falling to the ground for the fifth time.

So, my friend got the game and left it at my house. I didn't wanna play for a long time because I convinced myself just thinking about it that Infamous is not all that good of a game. You have really easy climbing abilities that offer no challenge and the enemies are a sinch, your powers can completely crush them with ease. It was a game to get your friends over, drink and then watch stuff blow up. A mindless toy.

I popped this game in at 5 PM and littertly didn't stop playing until 5 AM. It is so fucking fun AND its hard. The climbing isn't hard but if it was it would ruin this game as being able to move easily makes it so fun to fight enemies. Eventually you have to ward off HORDES of these fucking enemies. To say the least, its a blast. I love the game.

Oh, and I also thought the plot line would never gravitate towards me and while I disagree with some of the choices Sucker Punch went with (White guy with shaved hair and 5oclock shadow number 45 to appear in a game) but even so, I actually got into the game and the characters. Shocking isn't it?

I got the game yesterday and have a play time of six hours or so, it's fucking great, but yeah, hard as balls.
