I have fun with L4D, i consider it a "finished game".

All the cunts crying about how L4D wasn't "updated to its full potential" should take their head out of their ass and realize valve SHOULDN'T be obligated to update their games as you see fit. They really do spoil you.

Preordering this as soon as possible.

Quote from: GARY MOTHERFUCKING OAK;1591669HAha I just got myself L4D maybe I should finish it faster so I'll be ready for L4D2

If I want to I can complete all 4 campaigns in less than 80 minutes. The fastest time me and Sombra beat a campaign on was 16 minutes I think.

What I'm saying is how long are you taking to finish this?

2 VS maps. 2 VS maps. 2 VS maps. 2 VS maps.

Seriously.

Didn't they update it to provide all scenarios as VS maps?
What i'm trying to say is you would not expect any other company to release free content, because Valve happened to be nice with Team Fortress 2 and one major update for L4D you expect for them to give you the world.

Its a new game. Its $50. Shut up, buy it, have fun.

Being hard on the Clockcrew gaming forum sure is kewl.

No they did not provide an update, there is still only 2 VS campaigns, there is a reason why people are whining in this topic; Or rather stating facts: 2 VS maps and 4 maps alltogheter for a game with so much potentiall is just wrong. Why make the modells, the textures/characters so good when in the end they were hardly used to their fullest?

Don't know what you are viewing, but i see No Mercy, Death Toll, Dead Air, and Blood Harvest under Campaigns in VS. I guess you haven't played since the update.

With 3 play modes that have a ton of replay value, this game is complete.
The sequel will be even more enjoyable.

don't make me be even harder on you, clockcrew gaming forum

I bought it when it came out. It took them about 6 fucking months to add 2 VS maps which should have been there in the first place when they released it. They were acting like they were going to add new campaigns and they didn't do shit.

Army of Two had a free update that did contain 2 new levels. HOW ABOUT THAT?

If Left 4 Dead had 4 VS maps on release and they wouldn't have spread rumors about more campaigns I would have said fine. But now, no, they fucked up and you know it.

They started making said campaigns, probably throwing ideas around for months and came up with with and probably came up with so many newer ideas that may or may not have subsided from the original game play that in their best opinion a new game seemed like a good idea. Right now the trailers look like L4D 1.5, ill give you that, but they still have months to work on it, i'm sure we will see something new. But i was correct stating how all VS maps have been implemented, so even if the game is short in your opinion it can be called a full game. Don't enjoy L4D? Don't buy L4D 2. Simple really.

ActionClock

I will be getting the new one because I am spineless, but my only real complaint about this announcement is that they must have started development on l4d2 immediately after release, therefore they basically just abandoned the original game off the get go.  Which helps me understand why it took so long to get the DLC

i dont know where you guys are getting all this 'personality' from the first 4 characters who didnt have any lines in the game aside from 'hurry up' 'look zombies' or 'man i hate hospitals'

Like I said, it could only be called a complete game 6 months after initial release because they were too I'm a edgy teen too include all the VS maps in the beginning.

FileCabinetClock

portal 2 seems really unnecessary. i have no interest in a portal 2 at all.

Single player? What part of left 4 dead don't you be understanding boy
this game is made for online play

but back on topic, you get to know the characters personalities when they exchange conversation amongst themselves, you probably won't get all through one run of each level as they always say different shit
i really never met someone who said "wow left 4 dead characters how dull and unenjoyable"
i mean like never
Who doesn't love Bill, Louis, Zoey and Francis. Noone thats who.
And you love them too, you just don't realize it yet.
