Stick around after the crash to finish your game. Also, I missed you, clock crew.

Edit: Passed, thanks ClockCrew :)

Is it just me, or are there two songs playing at once?

<Marlin Clock> This thread seems proof positive that divisiveness at any level is usually bad for the Clock Crew.

That was actually one of the best games on NG that I've ever played and must immediately get put into our arcade along with piclownjew sing-a-long.

How did you actually corrupt all those images?

EDIT: After about 2 minutes, I realised how ridiculous the premise of the game is and began laughing out loud.
hello

PowerGloveClock

Quote from: FLOUNDERINYOBUTT;1837615I think Kodiak is the only person on  this entire website who dislikes Slurpee. I still dont understand how  thats possible. He\'s so loveable and funny. Every guy wants to be his  friend and every girl wants to date him. Understandably Slurpee is not a  very happy person.

I would have liked to do it frame by frame for a better flowing crash, but that would have taken me ages and I wasn't really up for it.

I ended up using a screen recorder to record myself playing and I kept a 0.3 second long piece and looped it over. Then I downloaded the Digimon opening theme. Following a Datamoshing how-to on youtube, I slapped the two videos together and got a final video filled with compression artifacts. I imported the final video into flash at the lowest quality possible.

To avoid audio problems, I created the soundtrack separately from the video using Audacity.

You can watch the tutorial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYytVzbPky8

It looks like this could be a lot of fun to play with on a bigger scale. David OReilly does things like this. He seems to hate the use of the word datamoshing and prefers to think of it as "simply not hiding the artefacts of software, the same way Bacon didn’t hide paint strokes".

Oh well.

Edit: I'm glad to know this got you laughing. That was what mattered most :)
