Warpstone from Starfox Adventures is the most pimpin' scottish golem with teleportation powers EVER. My animation shall be a tribute to his greatness, along with a bunch of other stuff in it.

I have the movie, "You, Me, and Everyone We Know". It's good you guys should watch it.

FLOUNDERMAN_CLOCK

He was one of the few good things about that game.

Furry Clock

I intend to keep this thread updated with my progress, also, to make as many people os possible know about this so I don't blow it off, because then I would be letting you all down.

STATUS: Drawing Warpstone in Flash.
Spent a decent amount of time drawing Warpstone freehand as well.

All of the lines he has makes it easy to give him 3D perspective.

Furry Clock

Status: Full of RAGE at how long it takes to draw that greedy scottish bastard.

End of day one. Progress completed: Warpstone's Head.

Still to do:
All the rest of Warpstone's parts
Backgrounds
Other characters
A storyline
Animating that storyline
Getting sound effects
Getting voice actors

ActionClock

I will definitely lend you my voice to such a project, as a voice actor.  I'm expecting great things.

My drawing of Warpstone freehand. I had fox stand on the bridge and use his zoom-in deal, then I just drew what I saw on the screen. I gotta simplify him so he looks more cartoon-like(also so motion tweens don't fail it up)

It's time to GET TO WORK.

I draw my characters first, so I don't got much to screenshot right now. I will post a screenshot after I get Warpstone all done and I get his background. I'm going to have a really cool title screen deal.

Current progress:working on Warpstone's body.

Furry Clock

Status: Body complete, working on Warpstone's arms.

Furry Clock

Status: Warpstone Complete! Flash hates my inverse kinematics, but those don't take long to re-do.

Furry Clock

STATUS: Completed(for the most part) all of Warpstone and his environment.

Made warpstone FULLY POSABLE, saving me alot of time that would have been spent redrawing him.

AstronautClock

have you thought about importing a .mov movie into flash of him and just trace it?

thats right I am talking about tracing you wussies

Furry Clock

To above post, I would do that if I was making a piece of artwork of Warpstone, but since I have to make him moving, I had to make each part pretty simple so that detail lines don't conflict with each other, and I had to make room for the joints to move.
I would texture him in illustrator, but one I don't have time to texture everything, and one textured object among non-textured objects makes those other objects look rushed.

UPDATE: Going to get Warpstone's background looking great with moving clouds/shadows/birds/crap like that. Maybe get another character drawn and/or make the intro screen(going to use Clock Day preloader, but will most likely have another intro screen as well)

Also, what kind of sports car would Warpstone drive?
