Ayn Rand is so 70's libertarian. I think 2005 proved atlas shrugged was just a story and not a realistic re-enactment. Wealth is important but it must be done with honesty. Creating stock derrivitives, tanking it, and taking the money is not honest. It's the equivilant of selling somebody a house and burning it in the middle of the night while they're sleeping. Also Ayn Rand was a cunt.

I'd also like to point out the deadline for nomination was on February 1st of this year. Obama had been in office less than two weeks. So even if you are number one Obama fan even you've got to admit that's a bit premature. He really did get the award for not being Bush. Then again they've also given the award to Henry Kissinger.

I disagree. I feel fine without a lot of money. I think it all depends on your state of mind. If you choose to be unhappy about not being rich, you will be unhappy. I know this sounds like pretentious bullshit, but I have actually managed to be happy just by choosing to. I know it works.

Well, I don't actually feel fine when I'm not in a particularly lucid state of mind (and that state of mind is rare, due to my constant exhaustion, which is due in turn to my insomnia), but that has nothing to do with money. It's more of a fucked-up sheltered childhood without a father thing.
