I played yesterday with Marlin. I love the new items as it becomes more strategic on who to carry what because they will replace the slots. Adrenaline shots take the place of pills for example.

I played it and it was ok. Pretty much the same as the L4D only sometimes you get a delay in pushing zombies back, which sucks. I will not be spending 60 bucks on this.

I thought it was pretty awesome how you can rip part of a zombie's skin off by hitting them with a club. I will be getting this.

thats in the original L4D, anyway i loved it, it had a completely different feel and ran ultra smooth with everything on high the only problem i had was my textures were glitched and transparent on special infected (which i'm hoping a reinstall will fix). i love the new chrome shotgun, the new pistol is awesome, i want to marry the machete

I played it on the 360 and I don't think you get what I meant. In L4D2 sometimes if I wanted to push a delay timer popped up around my corsair and I wouldn't be able to push anything until the timer was gone. I was still able to shoot and stuff, just not able to push. I thought this was really weird.

Its to prevent survivors from just running around constantly smacking stuff non-stop and making it impossible it them.

Why isn't this game an expansion instead of a full game?

Because they feel that new infected, character and campaigns are enough for a second game

Yeah I just played it and frankly I think it's a sham that they're going to charge 60$ for the same product, if instead they'd made it an expansion I'd feel as if this was a done deal but right now it's just the same game with some extra features.


Only uncle phil and suit man is any cool, the redneck and girl are just extremely dull and I can't stop wondering why they wont put on the armoured police outfits that apperently every 20th zombie uses.
And Dwarfinator was extremely right about the AI shooting you, constantly. All the godamn time.
Melee weapons were second to amazingly overpowered but the AI keeps shooting me whenever I use them, my non-AI teammates did the same but then again they were retards.
Not an amazing improvement but it was nice.
