Judging from this thread the Literature forum seems to be frequented by an awful lot of people with terrible spelling, grammar, and taste in books.

I took out a copy of 1984 from my library because the cover looked cool.


I was depressed for a while after finishing it.

they didn't make me do anything, they just said: hey go read an English book! So i picked Great Gatsby, Animal Farm and The Beach (i saw the movie week earlier so i just reviewed that, score!). Later it turned out stuff like Harry potter or Lord of the Rings would have sufficed but nobody told me!
