Yes. It is indeed disgusting what has happened to hip hop in recent years. It seems like any music made by a black artist automatically gets labeled as hip hop, even if it's just whiny generic autotuned pop.

I mostly ignore popular hip-hop music unless I actually notice it's good...

p.s. A hip-hop thread with no mention of De La Soul or A Tribe Called Quest? Insanity!
