i don't really get their reasoning behind this though, same for American censorship for that matter (boobs and the "f word" are no no's!). Normally banning and/or censoring things is done to stimulate safety (fascism, how to make bombs for dummies, child molestors'r'us etc). Or in China's case censorship is done to protect the leaders from the people by hiding or manipulating the truth. But i never got how banning shit like porn, zombiesurvival tips or violence related stuff is going to help them. If anything it removes a way for people to deal with their frustrations (sexual: jack off to porn, violence: kill some dudes online).
