I admit I've been had like a noob. I got that PM from "JoshuaEvanss" on Clocktopia.net and without thinking, I stupidly followed the link and it installed "Personal Security" on my computer. Now it's fucking everything up. It blocks half the websites I try to access, I can't see my desktop anymore and I can't find a way to get rid of it. Do you guys know any way to help me out of this predicament?

Try Spybot search and destroy.

It wasn't a member. Clocktopia had a bot problem for a while and one of them slipped a PM in there some time ago.

I'm clear now. Member or bot or keylogger or whatever that was, I won't take any chances and change all my passwords just in case.

Pop-tart linked me to a little program that could disable it so my malware buster software could work, and it worked.
