I actually watched this documentary about this radio show host who went for a while without sleeping and it was actually a lot more interesting then this. Apparently he just started dreaming when he was awake, and started hallucinating and freaking out.

I always thought the originals didn't have "DONT READ THIS" but kids who ended up reading it and spreading it felt bad about doing so, so they put a crap warning at the front.
