Quote from: UshankaClock;1772726Squidward's Suicide was not scary.
It's not scary, just the pictures it puts into your mind is kind of disturbing.
Also, who's read smile.jpg?
Quote from: PezDispenserclock;1948598Abba, I might not smoke weed, but I experiancing it being hit with a crowbar on a modded TTT server. Flashing colours, screen flipped, screen flying. Yup, I know how it\'s like.

I did just now, and it was really dumb. The picture looks like a crudely photoshopped demented dog.

EDIT: Okay I saw another version of the picture and it's kinda scary. But that's it.

Just finished reading both Pokemon Black and that hack thing. Cool stuff.

Quote from: Bulba;1772557THEN U ARE A LONELY OLD MAN THEN YOU COMPLETE THE CYCLE THEN YOU ARE JUDGED FOR YOUR PAST ANS THEN YOU SUFFER

A lot of these stories just play on common human/childhood fears, although they are fairly effective.

I imagine those fears are caused by much simpler reasons. When we are adults we fear war, mad men, poverty, hunger and other things. Once we were children, one of the only present unexplainable mysteries was death. And thinking of just death itself without causes or consequences is plain fucking insane.

Children are wise.

Quote from: Agent Francis York Morgan;1772649Also, here's a creepy video of a real bootleg

This is kind of what I imagined by watching some Game Over screens in SNES games. None was this graphical of course, but I remember arranging odd pictures like these in the Donkey Kong Country series game over screens.

Is this the Creepypasta/weird shit thread? no?, ok just gonna drop these here hope that's ok

QuoteMember Jedusable posted a history in Creepy+Pasta, it starts with a mysterious shopkeeper and a strange cartridge - "It was a normal gray cartridge, but someone wrote Majora on it with a sharpie" -

the cartridge was gifted to him and he could play it without a trouble, but the only notable "Glitch" was that the NPCs called him BEN.

But after triggering the fourth day glitch, a good number of events started to happen

That zelda stuff is about as scary as watching a guy screw around in GMOD

To be fair, you don't have anything. Clocks are just machines that tick.

God, creepypasta is the best thing in the world.

I'll never know if those mm videos would have creeped me out because the textures are so clean I know it's not an n64 running them and my immersion's immediately destroyed.

Going back to the topic, that was an excellent read and I would love to find that game. Bootleg's and hacks always had that bit of mystery in them because there are no information sources for them like serebii.net or other site's are for original pokemon games.

A site like this I read from time to time is trsrockin.com. It has a lot of nice/scary/creepy hacks from pokemon and other games in it.

buttplug

Computer programs experiencing errors aren't scary even if they are happening in a particular program you enjoyed during your childhood.

I went looking for the edd one and all I found was this hilarious thing about how the show takes place in a purgatory for children that died there in different eras

Ah I remember that one.

There's a lot of stuff like that for kids shows. There's a pretty popular theory that Fosters Home takes place in the mind of an insane Frankie

Oh, my friend told me about that one. Sounds pretty reasonable actually.

Except in one episode you see the arms of some of their parents and in the movie you see Eddy's brother

that's just because people saw the st. elsewhere parody without understanding that it was a st. elsewhere parody
