Thunderbolt

I'm sorry but:
I could do better with a mouse, learn to draw before you buy a tablet.

Don't listen to Thunderbolt, there is merit to your drawing. Keep drawing whatever you feel like drawing, and try to put as much of yourself into it as possible (your sense of humour, your favourite colours, your preferred line style, your favourite themes, etc etc).

In my opinion there is no "way to draw" as is implied by Thunderbolt -- you're successful whenever you've expressed what it was you wanted to express or shared whatever you wanted to share. You of course will become more skilled at expressing yourself in this way the more you practice, just like we learn to express ourselves with words the older we get and the more we engage in conversation.

I can't draw and I would buy a tablet if I had the free money. Drawing is fun, whether you're good or bad.

As long as you have fun making the drawing, it doesn't matter what people think. Oh, and by the way, I have tablet too, and my first drawings were pretty much exactly the same as your's.

Not bad, like everybody else says just keep on drawing, no matter what. Draw until your fingers bleed, then use the blood to draw more. Also, and I need to do this more, draw things you wouldn't normally draw. Draw a tree, a book, a flag, a whale's vertebrae. Just draw.
