During episode 100 of the Avault Podcast Gearbox's Mikey Neumann confirms at 35:41 that DNF will get a EARLY 2011 release, so we can expect Duke in Q1!

the game looks pretty fun though.

Duke Nukem's appeal is similar to that of Serious Sam. It's silly, fast-paced and a lot of fun.

Played it today at First Look (http://www.firstlookevent.nl/)
Holy shit, it was fucking awesome

I had to wait for 2 hours, and then we went in a room with 5 x-boxes
I pressed start as soon as possible, and saw a realy nice intro movie.
Then the game started at a toilet. You could use the right analog to pee. when I pressed X I could walk a bit. (witchout weapons)
Then I came in a room with a briefing and some dead soldiers. I could write on the board in the briefing room. You could pick black and red markers.
After a quick doodle I walked to the next room (still without weapons)
Then I came in a room with gunfire from both sides and the aliens were killed by the humans.
I walked forward, and sudenly there was an explosion and I was blown away, I could use my fists then.
Then I went in an elevator, and got the double rockets from Duke3D.
On top of the elevator there was the endboss from Duke3D.
I ran out of ammo fast, and there were some suply drops so I could kill him after a few refills.
The mission Finished after I had to walk to his stunned body and do a God Of War style finish. And then Duke kicked his eye through the touchdown thing on the side of the field.
Then I got a loading screen wich said Mission 15.

The second mission started in a Monster Truck, wich you could make sharp turns with the red xbox button (I don't know wich key it is)
And you could use nitro with the shoulder button.
I drove over a few guys and jumped a few ramps and then the fuel ran out.
I had a handgun when I got out (I think it was a M1911)
I tried to shout some guy who was far away but I missed, and there were 2 other guys coming too so I stood back and wanted to try a 2 on 1 battle.
But then I found a railgun, and shot all of them in a few sec.
I killed a few guys and got some ammo for the railgun, and then I found a good old shrinking gun.
I shrunk and stompt a few dudes, and then my time was over.
I got an Duke Nukem Forever T-shirt afterwards.

I just looked at the youtube movie, so most of the stuff I typed was pretty useless

How are the graphics? I hear they're a little dated but then again it was some fat fuck who probably didn't know what he was talking about.

Did the guns and everything feel nice? Was it intuitive and fun? How were the controls? Come on man! give us some impressions.

The graphics were realy great (for a 360 game it was awesome, I don't know for PS3, PC or whatever)
The controls were good too (I personaly prefer a PS3 controler but this played realy good)

The guns felt good:
The rocket launcher had a realy good aim and a zoom function.
The shotgun was ok for a shotgun (only good at close range)
The railgun had a scope function and also aimed realy good.
I don't realy know much about the handgun because I swapped it for a shotgun very soon.

It was realy much fun. the jokes were awesome. The gameplay wasn't repeative.
The first level was great, alot of things to see when walking. But the second level seemed more repeative, but the mostertruck was a nice add. I don't know if the second level is realy that repeative because I only played it for like 5 minutes or so.

I have to ask though, Did they show any kind of trailer? or was it just the demo?

I do realize that I'm lucky, I think it is the second time it was playable by a normale audience.

 It was in a separate room with 5 x-boxes. You couldn't see a trailer or something else
You could only stand in line to play and you couldn't see it unless you stand in the line. And taking pictures wasn't allowed

This might be a foolish question, but, if you do take a picture, do they take away your camera, make you delete what ever is taken, or shot on site by the Duke himself?

I'd assume they'd have you delete whatever was taken and/or take you away from the demo

So, who else is spending $50 for a game they don't want to play a demo?

I have vanilla Borderlands. Or did, as I traded it in so It would be worthwhile to get the GOTY. This is a huuuuge bonus.

I already have Borderlands with all the DLC (even the one that was released last week).

I played borderlands at a friends house but didn't get all that sucked into it. Is the GOTY worth the money?

I dont want to pay 50+ dollars for a demo.

The third DLC is bigger than the original Borderlands.
If you liked the normal Borderlands without DLC (before you meet the final boss) than I would recommend buying it.

The third DLC has 3 new vehicles, a much higher difficulty and alot of new weapons and enemies,
