Nintendo 3DS thread

Only two more weeks, I'm buying one because my DSlite got stolen last summer, probably won't buy any real 3DS titles for a while, might pick up some of the later DS titles instead.

Who else is getting one ?

I'll get one once they make a working R4 style flash card for it.

I thought they patched R4 so it did work? I saw a vid of it on youtube somewhere. Given, it was a Japanese system.

I'll have to see it in person. I doubt I'll get it unless the 3D screen is infinitely cool. It'll probably look gimmicky and out of place though

Although the 3-5 hour battery life when playing 3DS games is certainly lower than I would like, I'll still probably be getting one. Not at launch, but eventually.

Of course I will get one, not now of course, I still have a working original DS but the touch screen is starting to lose some sensibility

There are patched and new flashcards out, but right now there is no support for the 3DS games. Only DS games work with them. Nintendo will properly get rid of that with a firmware update since they are babies.

I want one but can't afford it at the moment. 250 is steep for a handheld.

I tried it at the demo kiosk, but I was disappointed by how little features they let you see. I wanted to check the Mii maker and all that. The 3D feature itself is pretty ok, but I doubt I will get used to it quickly. Thank goodness it's easy to just turn it off.

I am impressed enough by the graphical quality. Sure, it's not HD and all that, but it's a step ahead on their handhelds, and they do know how to make them. Now I really just want Kid Icarus Uprising to be released.

I want one but I think I can wait. I mean, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D doesn't come out until December so there's no big hurry. Still, I really want to see how Nintendo pulls off the whole 3D gameplay with no glasses thing. But knowing Nintendo they'll pull it off with flying colors.

So i've had mine since thursday and i've played on it a lot.
I only have Super Street fighter IV for it right now but its super addicting and great fun.

I demand everyone give me their friend codes as soon as they have one.

Looking at the launch lineup its actually pretty terrible right now. It would be prudent I think to wait until some good game are released to purchase a 3DS
