This is a time honored tradition and many members have had to have their names changed at various points in their membership.

Current user "Blob" is in direct violation of this. The staff has made light of this so far and has refused to enforce this policy. The previous thread I made was spammed with hentai by members of staff, so I have decided to take this matter out of the spam forum and into the official feedback forum where such behavior is not allowed.

This is an official petition for the staff to enforce their own rules and make "Blob" select a new name.

Here is proof of previous BlobClocks existence for those who haven't seen already.

The rules also forbid questionable material being posted publicly, i.e. in one's avatar. The staff is permitted to issue discretionary bans when a rule is ambiguous.

In other words, I'd rather call this kid Blob II then look at your offensive blackface terminator everyday. But you keep soapboxing, man. It's all good.

I don't think blob needs to change his name. Yes, I will acknowledge that there was indeed another blobclock, but does anybody remember him? No. Did he contribute anything? No.

If some random dick takes a clock name and doesn't do shit then he never existed (at least in my eyes) to begin with. The current blobclock has no reason to change his name as I believe he's earned to right to keep it. He's contributed more than most of the people wanting him to change his name have.

In short, quit picking on the 13 year old guys.

There are better names than Blob, and I guess yeah it was taken by some guy I don't know at some time apparently, but there's no reason to harass him or the staff.

Blob being allowed to remain Blob strikes me as serious bullshit. I'm not going to pretend it's not because I had to change my name from Iceblock for the very same reason, under the threat of a permanent ban no less. The only real difference I can see between the two situations would be that I was a bigger dumbfuck when I was 13 than Blob is presently.

I really think that there should be some sort of evidence that a certain clock was active (i.e. did shit) before putting the name into retirement for future reference. The thing with poptart strikes me as one of those cases where it was just some guy who claimed the name on newgrounds and favorited a few movies, while not submitting a single movie.

Right now the only thing blob has against him is a cameo that renegade did in one of his 3D slideshow movies prior, and evidence notwithstanding, that shouldn't be enough IMO to lock the name up.
