The sandwich has been tainted with the very concept of pickles. I can ask for them not to put them on, but what would that solve. The sandwich is still normally sold with pickles. It is a tainted food.

The McRib becomes available when pork prices drop below a certain rate that allows them to make an insane profit on selling this "limited time" product. Generally it falls within the late fall- early winter time frame.
