Sure wish I had taken part in the deadpool.

Someone like that ought to be hacked to bits if it makes the people feel better.

I think it's morbidly funny to see how extremely joyous killing this guy makes this people, while for the past 42 years he's ruled with some semblance of peace over the country. Of course he did terrible things, that's what dictators do, but you can bet your ass that peace is a long ways away for Libya and if they ever find it, it'll probably be under the rule of someone a lot like this guy.

This whole revolt was a pointless waste of lives.

Edit - but hey, as long as the world gets to feel better about themselves because "a bad guy died".

AbsintheClock

You live by the sword, you die by the sword.

OvenmittClock

Oh bohoo, some people who were oppressed are venting their anger at the dead body of their oppressor. Who cares what they do with him? He was a dick to them so, let them do what they want with his shitty body.

Quote from: RibsClock;1869833"Someone like that" is dead, hacking up their body doesn't hurt them, only their friends family and loved ones and hating this guy so much that people would be willing to hurt his family just for the opportunity to desecrate the dust that he used to be...that's pretty hateful and evil.

Yeah, well, I think your beliefs are pretty absurd too.

You're an idiot. Abolishing the constitution and writing your own based on your own megalomaniacal ideals... then extirpating all those who oppose you.. is not a semblance of peace.

That's by our standards. Ever take a look at that part of the world? Hint: it's batshit insane.

Yo it's Pius XII back from the dead

After watching some of those videos I'm fairly confident that you could get by in any Arabic country if the only words you knew were "Allah Akbar".

Just like it is with "Jesus Christ our Lord and savior" in the USA.

The thing that annoys me most is that these rebels (or freedom fighters as the media likes to call them) thank allah on their bare knees for victory while they should divert their praise to the NATO instead.
A few months ago things weren't going so well when the rebel (or should i say rabble, lololol get it) forces stood up against khadafi's superiorly equiped army, they start losing men here and there and get pushed back hundreds of kilometers. As a result they cry for help and blame the international community for not helping them. Nato answers their call after weeks of whining. Next thing we break our ties with khadafi and throw a couple of thousand bombs on his troops and infrastructure, effectlively paving the way for some dumb ragheads with AK's to win their "revolution".

Predominantly Muslim countries, for good reason, will never like the US. Unless we give them fuuuckloads of money for their oil, in which case they'll claim they like us while secretly wanting to kill us.
