Dragons are pretty easy now I have dragonrend, also i'm duel wielding dragonbane and mace of molag bal.

so I've got this wierd thing going on with my wizard where none of my spells use up any magicka at all. Wtf is going on? is it a glitch? It's kind of making the game too easy because I can just spam destruction spells forever

edit: nm turns out it's supposed to happen, it's some stupidly overpowered buff you get for completing an incredibly easy quest.

magic college. ask the illusionist mage guy if he needs help and do his 30 second fetch quest. Then you get like 3 hours of infinite magicka. That's IRL hours, not ingame hours. That's why I thought it was a glitch, I did like 4 questlines and killed 2 dragons while I had that buff

edit: Magic college is next to a town called whitesomething (forgot exact name) in the north east of skyrim and has a shitton of magic trainers. It's basically mages guild

There's so much shit to do in Skyrim I almost get overwhelmed with it all. Like I want to just do smithing for like two hours when I get home, but I know I'll probably run into some new dungeon which will lead to a new quest which will lead to two new quests ffffffffff.

Does this game have more content than Fallout 3 or New Vegas? It certainly seems like, I feel like I'm just consistently seeing and doing way more interesting stuff than in the last two Fallout games.

Also I was playing this game with LotusClock over skype share screen, and he made a funny observation about how rocks aren't supposed to be as shiny as they are in a lot of the caves in the game. "What is this, a shit cave?"

How the fuck do you smelt ore into bars in this game? I had a ton of gold ore I had to vendor because it was weighing me down and I could have made that shit into gold rings and made LODS OF EMENY

also, tip for everybody: give your followers staffs. They're like the wrath of fucking god with that shit. Duel wielding with perfect accuracy and fire rate. They make dragons your bitch. Just make sure to recharge them with soul gems every once in a while and you're unstoppable.

Those quests when you have to escort people are pretty annoying. They're all like "HEY LOOK A DRAGON I'M JUST GOING TO PUNCH IT COMPLETELY UNARMED AND UNDEFENDED AND GET KILLED SO THE QUEST WILL BE FAILED". But the game itself is pretty good aside from some bugs, but that's expected from Bethesda

I know there's an alteration spell for it. Not sure if that's the only way.

There's a smelter next to the war maiden in Whiterun.

so I kinda scoffed at the idea of 300 hours of gameplay in skyrim...
